Attunity Ltd. announced a new release of its change data capture (CDC) and operational data replication (ODR) software with support for SQL Server 2008 R2. The software is now generally available with the Attunity CDC Suite for SSIS.Key highlights of Attunity SQL Server-CDC for SSIS include: support for log-based CDC for SQL Server 2008/2005/2000, with no installation on the data server; support for many SQL Server editions; support for data replication into many heterogeneous target databases; fully integrated with SSIS and Business Intelligence Development Studio; and provides management console to monitor and control end-to-end heterogeneous replication.
Netezza Corporation announced the SAS/ACCESS interface engine for the Netezza TwinFin data warehouse appliance. The TwinFin appliance combined with the SAS/ACCESS interface engine provides a global advanced analytics platform to the enterprise by delivery of custom, high-performance connectivity between SAS and Netezza.
Oracle today announced Oracle Tuxedo 11g, an application server for mission critical C/C++ and COBOL applications; Oracle CRM On Demand Release 17, the latest release of Oracle’s on demand service that continues Oracle’s commitment to CRM innovation and introduces extensive forecasting and analytics capabilities to gain more actionable insight and increase productivity; and the new Oracle Social Services Suite, which includes updated versions of Oracle’s Siebel CRM Public Sector 8.2 and Oracle Policy Automation 10.
