Autonomy Corporation plc announced the availability of Autonomy Arcpliance, a new on-premise digital archiving appliance. Autonomy Arcpliance leverages the next-generation archiving capabilities of Autonomy Digital Safe, Autonomy’s cloud-based archiving solution, to provide a turn-key archiving appliance. The appliance is designed for midsized businesses or organizations seeking a simplified, scalable solution for specific tasks, such as archiving application, divisional or location-specific data.

BakBone Software unveiled BakBone NetVault: Archive, the latest addition to the company’s portfolio of data protection solutions. The solution will allow IT administrators to improve the efficiency of their storage infrastructures while facilitating data retention compliance and reducing management complexity and overhead, ultimately lowering overall storage costs. BakBone NetVault: Archive gives organizations the ability to establish a tiered storage strategy that encompasses policy-based storage automation, search and e-discovery, policy-based storage automation and audit management.

Composite Software, Inc. began shipping Composite Information Server 5.1. Composite Information Server 5.1 provides data virtualization capabilities such as the ability to access data in various formats, abstract data complexity, federate data from disparate sources and deliver the data on demand in the format that is required by the consuming application. among its key features are: integration with a comprehensive list of data sources; enterprise-ready data virtualization capabilities, such as clustering, version control, monitoring, management and advanced caching; access and delivery of data to a large set of business applications that uses REST services, and other standard protocols; and security based on Java Authentication, Authorization Service plus user token authentication plug-ins, and other pluggable authentication systems.

Coveo announced the launch of a free, entry-level enterprise search solution, Coveo Expresso Beta. Coveo’s new solution places the power of enterprise information access in the hands of employees, at no cost, for up to 50 users, 1M desktop files and email items and 100,000 Intranet documents. It features: cross-enterprise Email Search, the Coveo Outlook Sidebar, The Coveo Desktop Floating Searchbar, enterprise desktop search and mobile access via BlackBerries for 50 users.

Dexrex Gear, an information technology platform provider of consumer and business textual data management services for instant message networks and mobile text messages, is taking message archiving and data management to the cloud with the launch of its first enterprise-focused product, Dexrex Gear ChatSync. Dexrex Gear ChatSync is a comprehensive Web-based data management solution for the secure and seamless capture and active archiving of a business's real-time messaging transmitted from a host of consumer IM and social media services as well as enterprise collaboration platforms.

Dimensional Insight, an independent provider of dashboard, reporting and analytics software and services, announced version 6.2 of The Diver Solution, its highly integrated business intelligence suite. The new version offers significant visual, graphical and design enhancements that streamline the development of role-based performance dashboards, scorecards, key performance indicators (and actionable reports within an organization. Visual-based analysis improvements make it easier for users to access, understand, share and act on information.

IBM unveiled a new software platform designed to change the way that local, state and national governments manage and deliver services to the public. The new IBM Government Industry Framework will help agencies of all sizes use new technologies to transform their existing support and delivery processes, allowing them to more efficiently deploy limited resources and respond more quickly to everything from public emergencies to the delivery of social services. The Framework is a base software platform that is enriched by the contributions of independent software developers who use it as a foundation to build unique applications that address particular issues across government.

Idera announced SQL virtual database, a product for accessing and extracting data from SQL Server backup files. SQL virtual database is a product that lets database administrators and developers attach SQL Server backup files and query them like they were “live” SQL Server databases. Idera also announced SQL toolbox, a collection of products containing more than 25 essential tools for SQL Server DBAs, and SQL safe 6.0, an SQL Server backup and recovery solution.

Infosolve Technologies announced an new feature to their enterprise data quality product OpenDQ T 2.0, external data enhancement. This new addition will enable businesses to enrich their consumer and business data with up to 100 different data enhancements, creating multidimensional information that businesses can use to more effectively build client loyalty, drive new sales, create marketing efficiencies and proactively service their clients.

Knoa Software announced the availability Knoa Virtual/Cloud Experience Manager (VCEM). Knoa VCEM monitors and manages end-user experience for enterprise applications that are running in virtualized environments, delivered via SaaS or provisioned via Cloud Computing. It is designed to mitigate the inherent risk to business continuity that any disruption to the back-end infrastructure raises, especially with the following capabilities: dynamic benchmarking, comprehensive threshold alerting, dynamic base-lining and advance root cause analysis.

Oco, Inc. announced the Oco Customer & Sales Management Analytics solution, a business analytics solution that provides companies with a 360-degree view of their customers. Oco’s solution provides analytics capabilities that move beyond basic reporting capabilities. It incorporates business data from multiple systems: actual revenue and cost from an ERP system, forecast pipeline revenue from a CRM application, internal services metrics from various operational sources and external customer satisfaction scores from a third-party provider.
