Appian announced a new release of the Appian for SharePoint module. Appian for SharePoint extends the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 systems with the capabilities of the Appian Enterprise BPM Suite. The new release features ease-of-use enhancements, including Form Pickers and new packaged Appian Smart Services, as well as updates to the Appian for SharePoint Web Services interface. 

Autonomy Corporation plc announced Autonomy Interwoven Multichannel Optimization, a solution that combines web content management, contact center and advanced analytics capabilities into a single solution for understanding and optimizing customer interactions. The newest module in Autonomy’s Meaning Based Marketing suite, the solution enables organizations to automatically listen, analyze, optimize and act on all forms of customer interactions across multiple channels including social media, the Web, contact center, email and in-store.  

IBM announced new security software that tackles the fragmented state of the identity and access governance market with a single solution that helps organizations administer, secure, monitor and certify user identities and their access to applications, information and systems. The new version of IBM Tivoli Identity Manager has operational role management capabilities that help organizations manage user access as part of their business and risk management strategies. 

MEGA added a mathematical tool to measure risk exposure into its MEGA GRC Suite. The MEGA GRC Suite will contain an expanded risk quantification and analytic component based on Bayesian scenario calculation, a proven, but advanced means to produce the complex operational risk models that experts agree are the best way to measure risk exposure and aid in decision-making. 

Parabon Computation announced the latest release of Parabon Crush, a scalable, statistical data mining and predictive modeling application that draws its power from Parabon’s Frontier Grid Platform. Now enhanced with a search algorithm developed for NASA, Crush uses the idle capacity of thousands of computers on a Frontier Grid to discover optimal statistical models within high-dimensional datasets that are too computationally challenging for traditional approaches. 

Quest Software, Inc. announced the newest version of Quest Web Parts for SharePoint. This productivity solution streamlines and simplifies the application development process by providing the ability to customize and build more robust SharePoint sites, applications, menus and dashboards through configuration rather than code.
