Autonomy Corporation plc announced significant enhancements to the company's Virage MediaBin platform. Leveraging Autonomy's Meaning Based Computing technology, Virage MediaBin 7.1 automatically forms a conceptual understanding of all rich media assets located in any internal or external repository, including social media, blogs, and videos. It combines meaning-based Digital Asset Management and Web Content Management, marketers can use Virage MediaBin to quickly identify and leverage the most relevant and compelling rich media assets for use in web, video, print, social media, online advertising and mobile campaigns.

CA, Inc. announced the general availability of CA Agile Vision Team Edition, a native Force.com agile development planning tool, designed to enable companies to unlock the competitive advantage of application development management entirely in the cloud. With CA Agile Vision Team Edition, companies can bolster agile planning and collaboration to realize faster, more efficient releases. Dundas Data Visualization announced the beta launch of Dundas Dashboard v2.0, a version of the company's all-inclusive platform for digital dashboard creation, integration and delivery.Some of the key highlights of v2.0 include: OLAP capabilities; SharePoint integration; complete customization and extensibility; and Dundas DashFlow collaborative workflow.

EMC Corporation announced the EMC Data Domain Global Deduplication Array, an inline deduplication storage system for enterprise backup applications. The Global Deduplication Array, based on a new multicontroller extension of the Data Domain architecture, offers inline global deduplication and a global namespace for all data stored in the dual controller system. With throughput up to 12.8 terabytes per hour, it establishes consistently high benchmarks across the spectrum of common data center backup metrics.

Endeca Technologies, Inc. announced a new release of the Endeca Commerce Suite, delivering major improvements around data integration, merchandiser usability, and partner extensibility. This new release includes over 50 enhancements designed to help eCommerce teams more easily integrate rich content and third-party technologies into the customer experience, providing merchandiser’s greater control over how content is displayed on pages.

Greenplum Software introduced Greenplum Chorus, a commercially available enterprise data cloud platform. Greenplum also announced Greenplum Database 4.0, a major release of the company's high-performance database software. Greenplum Database 4.0 also powers the databases provisioned by Greenplum Chorus.

Information Builders announced the release of WebFOCUS 8. The latest BI platform includes significant enhancements, which address four critical elements for smarter decisions, including data integrity, performance management, business intelligence, and advanced analytics. WebFOCUS 8 also delivers improved end-user personalization and unique security for large-scale applications as well as customer-facing or public deployments.

Nimsoft, a business unit of CA, Inc., announced availability of Nimsoft On Demand, a software as a service Unified Monitoring solution that delivers the capabilities and benefits of IT monitoring as an on-demand solution. With Nimsoft On Demand, emerging enterprises and managed service providers can maintain visibility into their business-critical IT infrastructure -- including both their internal assets and those in the cloud – without having to purchase, administer or deploy monitoring hardware and software on their own premises.

Oco, Inc. announced two new SaaS BI products that enable users to analyze complex cost structures in order to find new ways to increase profitability. The new offerings include Oco Contract Compliance Analytics and Oco Spend Variance Analytics. Oco Contract Compliance Analytics is a turn-key cost analysis solution that reveals how well vendors, carriers and other contractors are complying with the terms of their agreements. Oco Spend Variance Analytics breaks down the factors contributing to any cost, margin or profitability variance and flags the causes contributing to the variances between planned and actual performance.

Open Text Corporation announced Open Text Media Management 7, a major upgrade to its digital asset management solution, including a completely new user interface that makes finding, accessing and managing large volumes of digital media assets fast and easy. Media Management 7 also delivers new process automation capabilities designed to help companies optimize media operations, improve business agility and increase control over digital media content.

Oracle announced MySQL Cluster 7.1, which introduces MySQL Cluster Manager, a new solution that simplifies and automates the management of the MySQL Cluster database and enables administrators to respond quickly to changing market conditions and stringent service level agreements. In addition, the new MySQL Cluster Connector for Java helps accelerate development cycles and time to market, and enables higher throughput and lower latency for Java-based services.
