Autonomy Corporation plc introduced its new product for eDiscovery and compliance. It uses a scalable, distributed model to automatically search, identify, preserve and collect relevant electronically-stored information to the cloud from laptops, desktops and more than 400 enterprise repositories, including file and email servers, archives and Microsoft SharePoint. Collected ESI is then stored in Autonomy's secure, cloud-based archive, enabling organizations to perform defensible and systemized preservation and collection in the shortest amount of time to meet the preservation obligation.

CA announced CA Encryption Key Manager (CA EKM), a z/OS-based comprehensive solution that unifies and automates the management, storage, distribution and documentation of encryption keys for multivendor mainframe and distributed environments, such as Linux, UNIX, Windows and Solaris. By doing so, CA EKM can reduce administrative overhead, support compliance best practices and corporate governance initiatives and reduce the risk of downtime that can result from the inability to access encrypted data.

IBM announced new solutions for developers to create and deliver software in both public and private cloud environments. IBM Rational Software Delivery Services for Cloud Computing includes a set of ready-to-use application lifecycle management tools for developing and testing in the IBM Cloud and use of infrastructure management capabilities, to help organizations build software applications in the cloud. IBM Smart Business Development and Test on the IBM Cloud is a free public cloud beta for software development that provides compute and storage as a service, as well as Rational Software Delivery Services to help application developers and testers speed the development and delivery of software applications.

Oracle announced three new products this week. Oracle GoldenGate delivers real-time data integration and bulk data transformation, and also provides data quality, business intelligence, higher online transaction processing performance and continuous data availability for mission-critical systems. Oracle Audit Vault Release 10.2.3.2. introduces key new reporting and alerting capabilities that streamline and help reduce the cost of the database audit process. Oracle also announced Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM 9.1. Developed closely with feedback from customers, it introduces over 100 new features, 20 new Web services and two new products across sales, service and marketing. Pages are enhanced in CRM 9.1 to deliver a next-generation Web 2.0 user interface and experience enhancements.

Panopticon Software released version 5.3 of its Panopticon EX visual data analytics software. The new version allows rapid deployment at the workgroup or enterprise level and allows users to visualize data from virtually any source, including real-time streaming feeds. Panopticon EX 5.3 incorporates support for a range of new data visualizations, including multi-level pie charts, dot plots for analyzing comparative data sets and an upgraded heat matrix - a variant of the Heat Map useful when looking for correlations in linear data. The new release also includes a number of changes to the user interface to make it easier to implement and learn and improvements to the way data visualizations are displayed on the screen.

Pitney Bowes Business Insight unveiled PERFORM.360, an integrated portfolio of applications that blends branch network design, performance analytics and sales management tools to help financial services institutions maximize market coverage, visualize opportunities and optimize sales resource deployment. Its components include: local knowledge, network analysis and sales assessment, and goal setting. 

SailPoint announced the immediate availability of SailPoint IdentityIQ 4.0, featuring new “collaborative compliance” features that give enterprises the ability to model business processes as well as manage individuals and groups responsible for identity governance activities. Collaborative compliance fosters better teamwork across an organization by synchronizing identity business processes with IT controls, helping organizations comply with corporate security policies and industry regulations.
