Accenture launched the Accenture Intelligent Network Data Enterprise, a data management platform to help utilities design, deploy and manage smart grids. The INDE enables utilities to manage, integrate and analyze real-time data generated by millions of disparate sources throughout a utility’s smart grid network. Transforming the data into actionable and predictive insights allows a utility to take actions to increase operational performance. Designed to help utilities accelerate smart grid implementations while reducing deployment risks, INDE comprises a robust and configurable suite of software applications, management tools, databases, analytics tools and processes that perform several critical functions.

Atrato, Inc. announced availability of its next-generation Atrato Velocity product line. The Atrato solution delivers a blend of solid state disk technology, the highest density spinning disk and intelligent, software autonomics for precise real-time data access and management. The "hybrid" solution is specifically designed to help customers bridge the gap between storage and servers.

Attunity Ltd. announced a new release of its Change Data Capture and Operational Data Replication software with support for SQL Server 2008 R2. Key highlights of Attunity SQL Server-CDC for SSIS include: support for log-based CDC for SQL Server 2008/2005/2000, with no installation on the data server; support for many SQL Server editions (not limited to Enterprise Edition); support for data replication into many heterogeneous target databases integration with SSIS and Business Intelligence Development Studio; and a management console to monitor and control end-to-end heterogeneous replication.

Global 360 unveiled analystView 3.0, which provides business analysts and Microsoft Visio users intuitive and integrated process modeling and analytics functionality within Visio Premium 2010. With tight integration within Visio’s toolbar, analystView 3.0 allows business analysts and process owners to compare modeled process scenarios and analyze the impact, enabling organizations to better optimize investment choices.

HiT Software, Inc. announced DBMoto 7, the newest version of its Change Data Capture and Data Replication solution. DBMoto 7 brings advances in data integration to enterprises that require data synchronization across multiple databases, remote administration, advanced security options and an easy way to monitor and compare replication results.

InfoDome, Inc. unveiled InfoDome 1.0. Features include the ability to create an online relational database solution from scratch, by importing existing data or by customizing prebuilt applications; import Microsoft Excel, .csv, text, Microsoft Access and FilemakerPro files; design forms visually with full WYSIWYG layout capabilities; create reports visually with WYSIWYG tools, live data and automatic retotaling; and share forms, reports and records with specific users or groups.

Objectivity, Inc. announced the availability of their Objectivity/DB Data Store for the Eclipse Connected Data Objects Model Repository. The Objectivity/DB Data Store for Eclipse CDO gives the Eclipse community simple, pluggable access to their high-performance, distributed, scalable, NoSQL data solution, with significantly less development time and effort.

Oracle announced the latest release of Oracle Berkeley DB, the high-performance, small footprint open source embeddable database engine for mission-critical ‘edge’ applications. Oracle Berkeley DB 11g Release 2 introduces a new SQL API, based on SQLite, which is familiar to a large developer community and helps simplify application development. New features include support for JDBC and ODBC connections to Oracle Berkeley DB. In addition, Oracle Berkeley DB 11g Release 2 introduces support for the Android platform, offering developers the ability to develop and deploy a wide range of applications.

SailPoint has added end-to-end provisioning capabilities to its identity governance solution, SailPoint IdentityIQ, and can now automate the entire user access request and fulfillment process. Building on its early innovations in identity governance and leveraging its founders’ provisioning heritage, SailPoint’s governance-based provisioning solution is designed to simplify implementations, reduce costs and deliver immediate business value.

Sybase 365 announced the launch of a new hosted service for messaging traffic analysis – Sybase Operator Analytics 365, based on the latest version of Sybase's industry-leading, column-based analytics server, Sybase) IQ 15.1. It provides a wide range of reports, and by performing advanced analytics on the message traffic mobile operators send across the Sybase 365 global network users can monitor key network components allowing them to provision their network to better serve traffic spikes and let users view performance trends, analyze system history and track error messages in order to more effectively diagnose message delivery issues and troubleshoot problems.
