Cicero Inc., announced it is launching a new product called Cicero XM Discovery, a lightweight, easily deployed and configurable tool to capture desktop activity at the end user desktop and to record that activity either locally or in a central data store. The product is designed to assist organizations in identifying potential areas for improvement in business processes, compliance, training and application usage.

Idera announced the latest version of its SQL Server backup and recovery solutions: SQL safe 6.4, SQL safe lite 6.4 and SQL virtual database 1.4. The latest version enables DBAs to increase productivity by managing an organization's entire network of SQL Server backups across trusted and non-trusted domains.

kCura released Method, a workflow and notification system designed to manage legal hold and risk assessment processes performed by law firms, corporations and service providers. The enterprise solution, which runs on the e-discovery review platform Relativity, allows those individuals who oversee legal holds to streamline workflows and mitigate risks.

NextGate announced the release of MatchMetrix 7, a master data management platform used to build industry-specific indexes, and three MDM suites for health care organizations that are built on the MatchMetrix 7 MDM platform. Using probabilistic and deterministic matching algorithms and a flexible data model, the MatchMetrix MDM Platform generates master data indexes that enable the precise management of information in complex multi-participant environments in any domain.

Oracle announced the newly released Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure 3.2. Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is a complete management, hosting and access solution for virtualized desktops hosted in the data center. New features in Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure 3.2 include global hot-desking, multi-company capabilities, enhanced video and audio capabilities and administrative enhancements.

Quantrix released the Quantrix Development Kit (QDK), a modular platform that enables companies to develop customized business and financial modeling applications that are more flexible, scalable and robust than traditional spreadsheet and business intelligence-based systems.

Riversand Technologies, Inc. announced the release of MDMCenter Version 5.5. Benefits of the latest version include faster time-to-market, improved data quality, improved data richness and cost reductions through business process efficiencies.

Sybase, Inc., an SAP company, announced a new HP-Sybase BI reference architecture that leverages the HP Converged Infrastructure. Featuring Sybase IQ 15 running on HP ProLiant DL785 servers, this solution is designed to allow HP and Sybase customers to deploy analytic applications more quickly and achieve ROI sooner.

VMware, Inc. launched the Zimbra Collaboration Suite Appliance, an enterprise-class email and collaboration solution delivered as a virtual appliance. Designed to run on the VMware vSphere platform, the Zimbra Appliance helps reduce the cost and complexity of infrastructure management. In addition, VMware announced that Zimbra, which it acquired in February 2010, is now fully integrated within VMware.
