Attensity announced the latest version of Attensity Respond, its application for multichannel social customer contact centers and marketers. New features include a Web-based, iPad-compatible user interface; access and integration of social media data, including the Twitter Firehose data stream and public Facebook posts; and document auto-categorization. Attunity unveiled the latest version of Attunity Replicate, its big data replication solution. Attunity Replicate 2.1 features Attunity TurboStream CDC (which facilitates integration with Amazon Redshift, EMC Greenplum and Teradata); support for ODBC, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, salesforce.com, as well as for a trio of object storage functions; and log file management.

Cloudwords unveiled Cloudwords Enterprise Edition, the latest edition of its translation management application. Features custom review workflow, open API integration and a project requestor, which enables users to submit, track and complete translation requests from dedicated project managers.

DataMotion unveiled SecureMail Automation, an encryption SaaS for automated email. The solution integrates with existing applications, includes automatic recipient account provisioning and complies with regulations, such as HIPAA/HITECH, GLBA and PCI.  

Dell Boomi released Dell Boomi MDM, its midlevel cloud-based solution. The offering enables deployment and identification of models into source systems, as well as governance of associated data, and use of Dell Boomi’s AtomSphere tool for resolving process and data flow issues. GFI Software released GFI EndPointSecurity 2013, the latest edition of their data loss protection solution. Updates include support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, a new dashboard, which allows administrators to centrally manage all enterprise endpoints, and customizable access controls. 

NaviSite introduced NaviCloud Intelligent Storage Share, an enterprise-grade cloud solution for document sharing. Powered by EMC Atmos and available either as part of a manual or automated solution, NCIS Share enables IT administrators to determine levels of corporate data access from any device. Data can also be hosted at multiple NaviSite nodes and accessed via a single URL.

OpenText unveiled two additions to their enterprise information management offerings. OpenText SecureiX, its cloud-based file transfer and messaging service, features data encryption during file transfer, increased transparency via threaded messages and time-stamped notifications. OpenText Smart Process Applications, which integrate its BPM solutions with its EIM products, offer a real-time, historical overview of structured and unstructured process operations, with out-of-the-box functionality; industry-specific editions are available for customer service, human resources and insurance client management.

Red Hat, released Red Hat JBoss Fuse, an open source ESB, and Red Hat JBoss A-MQ, a standards-based messaging platform rooted in the Apache ActiveMQ community. Based in products and development from the recently acquired FuseSourc, both releases feature drag-and-drop integration development, Apache Karaf architecture for app and component deployment, and operational efficiency extensions with other JBoss Middleware tools. STORServer unveiled its Hybrid Appliance, which integrates STORServer’s software with existing hardware. The appliance backs up data across multiple platforms and locations, including virtual machines and local and remote devices; manages data across the enterprise from a single location, via STORServer Console; and automates daily processes.

Teradata announced the release of Teradata Data Warehouse 2700, which can be configured from 7 to 82 TB of uncompressed user data per cabinet. Features include interconnection with InfiniBand, a switch fabric communications link, dual 8-core processors and data-at-rest encryption.
