Co3 Systems released a Security module for its namesake SaaS incident response platform. The offering streamlines incident entry and assessment, automates response plan creation and management, and provides customizable dashboards and reporting.
DataStax unveiled DataStax Enterprise v3.0, the latest version of its Apache Cassandra-based big data platform, with added security capabilities. New features include internal authentication, external authentication via Kerberos and LDAP, data encryption, data auditing and secure client-to-node transport.
Enterasys Networks, part of Siemens Enterprise Communications, released OneFabric Connect, which integrates third-party applications into the OneFabric Control Center. Features include mobile device management, visibility and control across multiple applications (i.e., firewall, Web filtering) and support for MobileIron, AirWatch, JAMF Casper Software, Avaya, Polycom, Palo Alto Networks and iboss Security products.
Information Builders introduced new capabilities to three of its product offerings. WebFOCUS BI platform now enables users to access social media analytics, combining information from social channels with CRM and ERP data. WebFOCUS Magnify, its enterprise search platform, now features data relationship and sentiment algorithms, and links content found in search and analytic processes to source systems. WebFOCUS Visual Discovery now includes an improved analytical workbench, as well as interactive visualizations for diagnostic and text analytics.
Intel announced the availability of the Intel Distribution for Apache Hadoop. The release features Intel Manager for Apache Hadoop, which streamlines cluster deployment; Intel AES New Instructions, an encryption instruction set; and the Intel Xeon processor, which can analyze 1 TB of data in 7 minutes.
KeyedIn Solutions launched KeyedIn Manufacturing, its SaaS ERP application. Available on any mobile device, the solution provides immediate visibility to all processes, a visual view of the shop floor and integration with QuickBooks.
Novell released Novell File Reporter v2.0, its identity-based storage reporting solution. The latest edition integrates with eDirectory and Active Directory, includes a SQL database and offers Web-based administration.
Pegasystems unveiled the latest edition of Pegasystems Customer Process Manager. New features include real-time suggestions and offers, secure chat and document sharing, and dynamic support for processes across various channels, including the Web, contact centers, and mobile and social channels.
Pentaho released a Twitter template for Instaview, its big data discovery application. The template allows users to access large volumes of unstructured data in order to spot trends, make correlations between conversations and understand customer behavior, without any coding.
Quest Software, now part of Dell, unveiled the latest version of its big data search and analytics platform. Now supporting PMML, Kitenga Analytics v2.0 enables users to search and analyze data from disparate data sourcing – including information from traditional relational databases and Hadoop clusters, including sources like texts, CRM systems and Twitter feeds.
Trillium released the latest version of Trillium Software System. Updated features include data visualization, business rule integration between profiling and cleansing, and global data support and security.
