Clavis Technology announced the availability of Clavis Data Steward 2.0, the latest version of its cloud-based data quality solution for data capture, collection and origination processes. Clavis Data Steward is an software as a service offering that provides data quality validation and monitoring in upstream data creation and data update forms, applications and processes. Enhancements in Version 2.0 include standard data validation services, new role-based dashboards for different data quality users, extended functionality for glossaries and data quality rules management and wider integration with third party applications, data integration suites and data quality tools.

Pitney Bowes Business Insight announced MapInfo Stratus, a software as a service-based solution for publishing and sharing location-based data and services. Pitney Bowes MapInfo Stratus is a Web-based solution that allows customers to push maps and data created in a desktop application, such as MapInfo Professional, to a cloud-based interactive mapping environment. This provides internal audiences or external parties with instant access to location intelligence analysis for better understanding customers and building stronger relationships.

update CRM Inc., the US subsidiary of update software AG, launched its new update.revolution CRM suite, an advanced cloud-based enterprise managed CRM service, to North America. Designed specifically for sales organizations of all sizes in the life sciences market, including biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries, update.revolution gives companies a platform from which to manage their sales force on a long-term basis, while providing the flexibility to adapt to ongoing organizational changes.

Alfresco Software announced the Activiti Business Process Management open source project. The Activiti project is a new Apache-licensed open source BPM platform designed from a blank slate to implement the new BPMN 2.0 standard from the Object Management Group and to support new technology challenges such as interoperability and the Cloud.
