February 24, 2009 – Netezza Corporation announced the acquisition of Tizor Systems.

The addition of privately held Tizor to Netezza will enhance customers’ ability to meet compliance requirements. Additionally, they will be able track, store and perform forensic analysis on large amounts of data.

“Enterprises rely on Tizor to deliver the best data auditing results, in the shortest time using the fewest resources,” said Prat Moghe, founder and CEO of Tizor. “Netezza’s acquisition of our company joins the forces of two companies that deliver innovative appliance-oriented analytics solutions for business intelligence and data compliance.”
