LucidEra developed "Clearview," a Web-based interactive analytical reporting and analysis product. Repackaged as "Pentaho Analyzer Enterprise Edition," the technology will be the front-end interface of the Pentaho Analysis product line for on-premises and cloud-based deployment, and via Pentaho partners who deliver SaaS applications
"Attractive, intuitive business user interfaces are as mandatory in open source BI as they are in other forms of BI," said Dr. Claudia Imhoff, President and Founder of Intelligent Solutions and Fellow of The Data Warehousing Institute in a statement. "This acquisition should make the technology attractive to a wider audience of users."
Pentaho will include the new capabilities for alla existing and new subscription customers for both its Pentaho Analysis Enterprise Edition product as well as Pentaho BI Suite Enterprise Edition without any change in pricing.
LucidEra closed its doors in June due to a lack of ongoing funding.
