April 1, 2011 – Cloud computing provider Liaison Technologies has acquired nuBridges Inc., an enterprise data security company based in Atlanta.

Security becomes a greater concern for IT managers moving business-critical information to the cloud. The nuBridges acquisition is part of Liaison's strategy to add security to its cloud-based integration and data management services. nuBridges products help businesses move, transform and manage sensitive data quickly, securely and cost-effectively across systems and organizations behind the firewall or in the cloud.

Bob Renner, Liaison’s CEO, says in a nuBridge blog, “As a privately held company, Liaison does not share financial information outside the company. However, we can say that the nuBridges acquisition nearly doubles Liaison’s annual revenue and expands our customer base to 9,000 and our employee base to 250 worldwide.”

The acquisition was effective March 31, 2011.
