Small business-focused cloud and iPad-centric accounting software developer Kashoo Inc. has upgraded to its iPad app with over 100 new features, ranging from streamlined reports and faster invoice generation to an emphasized reduction in the number of taps it takes customers to accomplish any accounting task.

Some key features in the enhanced app include the ability to create and send invoices from anywhere, using professionally designed templates; quickly view client balances, payment histories and past due invoices; track expenses and monitor cash flow; track and report on sales tax from any country; integrate with other business cloud services; and pull down to sync transactions from the cloud.

The upgraded app is also being offered with new pricing options for customers that include complete access to all Kashoo features across the Web app and the iPad app and for accountants and bookkeepers.

Kashoo’s new pricing plan includes free, monthly, and annual options with all customers having access to both the complete Web and iPad applications. Access to the entire Kashoo platform will be forever free to users processing under 20 transactions per month, and starting at $16 per month for more than 20 transactions when an annual contract is purchased.

“This is real accounting for the business owner who isn’t at his or her desk 9-to-5, in fact, our customers’ input was invaluable to the build of the new version,” said Kashoo chief executive Jim Secord. “We talked with them and got an understanding of how they used the app, what they love, what they’d like to see, where they use it, when the use it, what stops them from using it. All of that input helps us deliver an app that makes their business hum, their lives easier and their bookkeeping duties actually fun.”
