6. Google entered the arena of Web-based applications, browsing and cloud offerings.
7. Microsoft and Windows 7 was buzzworthy with reviews and user experiences to in-depth testing and analysis.
8. Government 2.0 is helping politicians realize the power of Web-based opinion, and quickly drive campaigns and initiatives to a broad audience.
9. Twitter enables many respected IT leaders to quickly share perspectives.
10. iPhone and other mobile devices are impacting the enterprise in terms of support, security and viruses.
This information can be used to address customers' needs, as well as to prepare IT for what areas organizations will be looking at expanding into next year.
