Mid-Market BI Release Adds Twitter, Web Integration

July 27 - Ei Dynamics announced the release of version 4.0 of Ei Dynamics software, a midmarket business intelligence solution with a suite of tools for monitoring and analyzing data, sending business alerts, managing business processes and developing workflows.

Twitter has moved beyond trendy tool status and arrived as a widely accepted form of broadcasting and communication. As such, Ei Dynamics now fully supports the ability to send Twitter messages. It can be used to facilitate Twitter marketing campaigns, as an alternate to SMS text messages to notify employees and personnel of important information. Retailers can automatically broadcast to consumers about the arrival of highly sought after goods to particular stores based on information from a company’s ERP system.

The latest release adds new advanced tools for deeper Web integration, providing greater ability for companies to reach out to external data over the Web. Ei’s premise for Web integration is that as cloud computing and Saas applications become more prevalent, tools now must enable companies to access and analyze their data no matter where it exists.

Other key new features in the latest release are password protected and encrypted PDF documents, support for range parameters built into Crystal report designs, and the ability to create drop-down parameters.
