Insurance software solutions provider Dovetail Insurance has won the Palmetto Pillar Award for cloud computing, which is sponsored by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Columbia Information Technology Council. The award is intended to honor the Midlands' technology leaders, innovators and IT executives.

"We're honored to receive the cloud computing award for our SaaS-based solution which provides insurance carriers, MGAs and brokers with unlimited possibilities for creating and distributing insurance products quickly across 50 states," said Tony Mattioli, president of Dovetail Insurance. "The award is recognition for what we do best: help our clients rapidly enter new markets with our full-service, highly adaptable technology platform."

Dovetail Insurance contends it is focused on changing the way insurance business is done through the use of technology and has helped insurers their business requirements associated with developing and distributing new insurance products and programs using the power of cloud computing.
