Axceler updated its administration product for Microsoft’s SharePoint, ControlPoint 4.2. New features in the new release include added interactive analysis and reporting capabilities, analysis of SharePoint 2010 Managed Meta Data usage in lists and libraries, and increased content management policies and security.  

BMC Software announced release of more than 20 mainframe service management products to support IBM DB2 10 for z/OS. The functionality and automation in the releases include capabilities to offload work to zIIP engine, tuning inefficient SQL, maintenance and change management tasks with minimal or no outages, and simplification of some day-to-day tasks.

Dell made multiple releases geared at data center challenges. Entailed in the new solutions are: Dell vStart, for building virtual infrastructures that operate virtual machines on a single management environment; Email and File Archive solution, which has capabilities for addressing storage optimization and compliance requirements; and Dell Desktop Virtualization Solutions, a portfolio of pre-packaged services and tested hardware and software for desktop deployment.

EthicsPoint unveiled its governance, risk and compliance management framework. The Adaptive GRC Framework includes compliance solutions such as: Compliance Management, for managing internal and external obligations; Case Management, to implement a single system for process enforcement; Policy Management, to facilitate management of the policy lifecycle; and Business Risk Analytics, a suite of products for data-driven insight for management and connection to other BI applications.

Hard Dollar made available its 5D Design Data Integration model. With a framework established for streamlining and translating design and takeoff data, the new module enables open API for design software integration and identification of changes between drawings and estimate versions.

Oracle unveiled the latest version of its enterprise visualization solution, AutoVue. Features of AutoVue 20.1 include: new ECAD features to support end-to-end design and manufacturing; added support for paper-based processes; “hot spot” connections to structured data; enhanced print service capabilities; and enhanced overall architecture.

Radiant Logic announced the release of the Cloud Federation Service (CFS) for its RadiantOne Identity and Context Virtualization platform. CFS federates disparate identity sources, delivers claims to cloud-based applications supporting SAML 1.1 and 2.0 and connects multiple active directory domains, forests and applications such as SharePoint 2010, Google apps, Salesforce and Workday.

SugarCRM announced additions to Sugar 6, its CRM platform for social business. Additions to Sugar 6 include added integration for IBM Lotus Collaboration products and the new Sugar for IBM LotusLive, as well as new collaboration tools and enhanced activity streams.
