Broadview Networks announced the availability of Cloud Computing Services, a suite of business software and infrastructure applications hosted in the cloud for SMBs. The cloud platform includes access to common productivity software, mobile and tele-work packages, and a suite of backup tools for desktop and server data for disaster management and recovery.

DataRoket released its turnkey custom data integration reporting and dashboard solution. Available via its cloud-based Data as a Service or as an on-premise appliance, the DataRoket solution features a data integration, analytics and visualization platform connected to various data sources, delivery as a unified data center platform, and connections to the company’s dashboard and reporting tools.

IBM introduced enhancements to its services portfolio for the way it designs, deploys and manages clients’ information technology infrastructure. New to its outsourcing services are adoptions of cloud computing options, integration with service-desk and data storage services, processes and analytics for server virtualization and communications, and a new set of integration for process, software and industry expertise with IBM research.

InfoPrint Solutions unveiled its Managed Automated Document Factory Services (ADF), a fully managed production print workflow solution in the cloud. Built for midmarket customers, ADF features cross-industry transactional document production, support for print-to-mail software and a cloud-based operational expense financial model.

Moofwd put out its application development platform, Moofwd Convergence Platform. Moofwd Convergence Platform enables enterprises to mobilize business processes, connect with internal IT, integrate with systems operating in the cloud, and produce applications on mobile devices that run outside of existing silos.

Panorama Software announced the availability of its socially-enabled BI solution, Panorama Necto. Connecting users and data on a business-oriented social platform, Panorama Necto enables user interest tracking, guidance to related tasks, metadata collection and maintenance, and interaction for specific reports, KPIs and charts.

Pitney Bowes Inc. launched pbSmartPostage, a mailing and shipping service bolstered by cloud computing. Capabilities with pbSmartPostage include application of postage to letters and shipping labels directly from any PC connected to the Internet, one of several new cloud-based customer communications management solutions being introduced by the company in the coming months.

rPath launched rPathX6, its IT as a Service platform. The IaaS data center automates delivery and management of software systems across physical and virtual environments, and includes drag-and-drop user interface, visually created blueprints for generating systems, and extension of rPath lifecycle management configuration data.

SAP released BusinessObjects GRC 10.0, the latest version of its governance, risk and compliance suite. The retooled suite features embedded BI reports and dashboards, a graphical tool for risk depictions and analysis, automated management capabilities, commonality of interface, data transporting and archiving, granular security controls, real-time risk analysis, and updated applications and software that offer the creation of user-built, industry-specific parallel platforms.

Zenith Infotech introduced its SMB business continuity system in the cloud, MirrorCloud. Features in MirrorCloud include continuous data mirroring, failover virtualization, live bare metal restore, granular exchange recovery and off-site transfer.
