Acronis presented Acronis Backup & Recovery 11, its disaster recovery solution for physical and virtual environments. New features include catalog and search data protection capabilities, and multi-destination backups and staging, and other enhancements have been made to its disaster recovery planning, tape drive and library support.

EMC Corporation announced an update to its information management platform, EMC Atmos 2.0. Features new or enhanced in the new version include storing for object segments, simplification of application integration, and Atmos GeoDrive, for Windows user access to the cloud.

Enterprise Signal Inc. put out the latest version of its mobile business intelligence solution. New to SurfBI Business Intelligence Applications 3.0 are added metrics/KPIs for various analytics outlets, as well as pre-built canonical enterprise enabled data model, pre-built integration and added dashboards.

Informatica Corporation announced the new release of its cloud integration service, Informatica Cloud Summer 2011. Added to the new edition are customizable views of user queries, job scheduling that defines blackout periods and non-business hours, and REST API for pre-defined data integration tasks.

Information Builders and Teradata offered a new joint data warehousing solution. Part of the Teradata Accelerate program, the data warehouse appliance includes added leveraging for load and query on Information Builders software, and integration tools, storage and BI from Teradata and Teradata Database.

myDIALS announced version 3.3 of its myDIALS Performance Management Portal. The new version establishes "Personal BI" by making it easy for users to interactively personalize their interface with a few clicks and then display the specific real-time, tailored information they need to make better, faster decisions. myDIALS also announced version 2.0 of myDIALS self-service business intelligence SuiteApp for NetSuite's SuiteCloud Computing Platform.

Oracle released the latest version of its adverse events management and reporting solution, Argus Safety. Oracle Argus Safety 7.0 enables separations for different safety data across a network, standardized configurations and rules management, central coding-dictionary management, and enhanced efficiency.

Panorama Software launched its socially enabled BI solution, Necto. Necto includes: automatic analytical exceptions; user tracking and suggestions based on social networking capabilities; the creation of collaborative workboards and visual presentations; and smart reporting on BI data.

Pervasive Software Inc. announced three new offerings geared toward data quality during cloud integration. Pervasive Move checks for data problems and duplicates early in integration; Pervasive Connect provides application connectivity in the cloud and on-premises; and Pervasive Protect enables tools for data validation.

Queplix Corp. introduced QueCloud, a cloud computing integration solution. Based on the Queplix Virtual Data Manager, QueCloud features automated application integration, and identification and extraction of data and programs for target applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite and LinkedIn.

SnapLogic unveiled its new cloud integration release, SnapReduce. SnapReduce transforms SnapLogic data integration pipelines into MapReduce tasks, works along with existing applications and tools on computations and uses the company’s new Hadoop Distributed File System.

Talend unveiled its open source enterprise service bus, Talend ESB Standard, and new solutions as part of a unified application integration platform. Overall, the platform features a single toolset for data and application integration, a graphical development interface, a deployment mechanism and management monitoring console, and add-ons to its data quality, integration and MDM solutions, all built on top of a shared metadata repository.
