BlueWave Technology, a provider of property/casualty claims software, announced the availability of PipelineClaims 4.2, a modern Web application that combines core claims administration with business process management (BPM). With PipelineClaims, an insurer's mission-critical claims operations are centralized in a single technology platform that manages the full claims lifecycle from first notice of loss entry through claim investigation, settlement and closure, BlueWave says.

Developed with configuration and integration as key architectural priorities, PipelineClaims 4.2 is designed to allow insurers the ability to tailor the application's workflows and business rules to their needs, and have the system automatically execute and monitor those business processes. Additionally, PipelineClaims was built on a flexible Java architecture that allows the application to integrate seamlessly with other core systems in any IT environment.

BlueWave says PipelineClaims 4.2 provides an intuitive, Web-based user interface along with numerous options for system configuration and customization.

Some of the new features available in PipelineClaims 4.2 include:

  • Configurable fraud and claim scoring
  • Automated reserving
  • Upgraded correspondence module
  • Comprehensive transaction audit logging
  • Enhanced financial model administration
  • Simplified system preferences setup
  • Code list management
