Coveo launched its Coveo Usage Analytics module, which tracks and analyzes all user activity performed across its search-powered enterprise information access solutions. The analytics tool can aid organizations by continuously optimizing their information access platform based on user behavior, with subsequent adoption by users. Coveo Usage Analytics also reveals which documents and information appear most often in search results, which ones are most accessed, and all resulting granular information.   

Emerson Process Management trumpeted the release of Roxar RMS 2010.1, which includes a powerful seismic visualization for improved decision-making and quality control within Emerson’s reservoir modeling solution. Roxar RMS 2010.1 helps with improved quality control tools, ease of importing 2D and 3D seismic data, and advanced seismic volume visualization tools to the workflow – tools which facilitate thorough quality control of interpretations, structural and property models, simulation models and well plans. 

Hewlett-Packard announced the release of HP CloudStart, a fast-track development program to put together private clouds within 30 days. Consisting of hardware, software and services, CloudStart delivers pay-per-use services from a common portal, and offers the ability to scale and deploy new services automatically. The cloud program also features real-time access to consumption and chargeback reports for clients.

IntApp Inc., a California-based provider of application integration software for law firms, announced enhancements and additions to its Integration Builder v. 4.5 software. The updated technology involves support for Microsoft Hyper-V, Master Data Directory implementation and, as part of a collaboration with Hildebrandt Baker Robbins, expanded integration templates for Elite 3E, a next-generation financial and practice management application.

Javlin launched its next generation of data integration software, CloverETL 3.0. Including more powerful Clover Transformation Language, named CTL2, the latest version of the software offers easier data processing and design-time validation. Features also include: distributed transformation processing; data dictionary, with full support in Designer, Fact Table Load Wizard; and server modularity through OSGi (Java framework).

Neville & Rowe Ltd. launched ImpactEdge, a business and analtics solution. The company said that the analytics software is able to handle large volumes of data in memory and in real time, and it offers an intuitive interface so that users can get data to the desktop in seconds.  

Stonefield Software Inc. announced the release of Stonefield Query Version 4.0 for Sage Accpac, the latest version of its business intelligence, reporting and ad hoc query software. There are more than 70 enhancements to the software update, many of which the company stated helps eliminate IT bottlenecks by creating a self-service BI reporting solution for the casual user.

Syncsort and NetApp have joined forces to offer a new heterogeneous open systems data protection software, NetApp Syncsort Integrated Backup. Combining software from Syncsort and technology and disk storage from NetApp, the new software allows for data center recovery in a turnkey package.

V3 Systems announced the release of VDA, a 1U-high rack-mounted appliance that serves as a virtual desktop accelerator and delivers virtual desktop performance from a cloud-based environment. By creating software that boosts the density of virtual clients per processor core, VDA delivers up to 300 simultaneous virtual desktop clients running VMware View within a VMware EXS 4.x or higher cloud-computing platform.
