Steiner, who has been Acumatica’s CEO since 2009, will focus more on building strategic partnerships around the world while Larichev will oversee more of the “day to day” functions of the company.
“In his new role as chief executive officer, Yury will be responsible for executing our company strategy, and driving our aggressive growth plans,” said Steiner. “His results-oriented approach and strategic thinking will play a pivotal role in extending Acumatica's track record of innovation and adaptability.”
Larichev admitted the company has some aggressive goals over the next year, not the least of which is looking to triple its revenue and growing its staff to 30 by mid-year.
“We have a few challenges as any growing company does, for one we need to be more thoughtful on our vertical strategies, picking the right partners, and delivering products on time,” said Larichev. “We have a multi-year strategy and of course when it comes to growing business it’s about helping partners and developing.”
He also noted that on the product end, Acumatica is placing “high importance” on mobile applications. It is currently developing more mobile native apps and is planning to release an application for the Windows 8 tablet shortly.
