The networking giant has scheduled a Webcast for June 30th at 12:30 p.m PST, which will outline the next steps in its efforts to combine networking, storage, and server technologies for data centers.
Cisco announced in March of 2009 that it would enter the server market, bringing it in direct competition with former partners such as IBM, HP and Dell. Its Unified Computing System strategy is aimed at simplifying traditional data center architectures.
According to information posted by the company about the Webcast, the session will provide information on the next stage of the unified computing 3.0 strategy and allow viewers to “interact with engineers responsible for the latest developments.”
