CA Technologies announced that its upcoming CA World 2013 conference, its largest user conference, will focus on how organizations can leverage cloud computing, DevOps and mobility for better business results.

The event, scheduled for April 21 through 24 in Las Vegas, is expected to attract more than 5,000 CA customers and partners and will showcase the vendor’s latest initiatives.

Among the keynote speakers will be CA’s new CEO Mike Gregoire, and Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, who will discuss how technology can drive business innovation that changes the world.

“We are in the midst of an unprecedented era for CIOs and IT, where IT sets the stage for game changing business innovation,” Andrew Wittman, chief marketing officer at CA Technologies, said in a statement. “CA World 2013 will explore how customers can go big with these new technologies and deliver IT that has meaningful impact for their organization.”

The conference will feature a new online video speaker series called Luminaries Live! The five minute video segments, featuring industry visionaries, are designed to offer a provocative perspective on how disruptive technologies can drive innovation.

Also included is an invitation-only Smart Architect program that’s customized for CTOs, senior architects, technical advisers and executive management. It will feature customer use cases discussing successful IT strategies focused on trends such as cloud computing and DevOps.
