CA Technologies announced the general availability of its CA Service Operations Insight 3.0, a product that manages business services across traditional IT and cloud-connected environments.

The product is the latest release in a series of new and updated CA offerings aimed at helping IT organizations make the right choices for cloud services and realize faster returns from hybrid cloud environments.

CA has been enhancing and expanding its service portfolio to help customers accommodate complex, composite applications, services and transactions that span hybrid cloud environments.

“Today’s challenging, dynamically changing business and technical environments are outpacing the abilities of current management tools,” Mike Sargent, general manager, Service Assurance at CA Technologies, said in a statement. CA Service Operations Insight is designed to address the service quality requirements of real-time, interactive online services that drive many businesses and government entities, Sargent said.

With CA Service Operations Insight 3.0, IT operations executives and staff can visualize and analyze infrastructure, applications and transactions in the context of the business services they support. This can help identify and resolve problems to improve service quality and predictability and optimize efficiency, according to CA.
