IDS Scheer, a provider of Business Process Management (BPM), announced the official availability of its new process-based Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) ARIS PEM Offering. ARIS Process Event Monitor (ARIS PEM) delivers necessary up-to-date, process-relevant data and enables companies to respond immediately to critical events. The new product offers intelligent, high-performance, continuous monitoring and validation of incoming events and identifies critical situations proactively, enabling employees to focus on the most relevant cases and to take the necessary immediate action.

ARIS PEM is built on the Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) technology framework from Systar, an industry leader in BAM that was rated the most efficient provider in the latest "Marketscope for Business Activity Monitoring Platforms" by a leading IT analyst firm. By integrating Systar's BAM technology with the market's leading ARIS Platform for process modeling and process documentation, IDS Scheer now delivers a comprehensive Business Process Management (BPM) solution.

Bayer Business Services (BBS), headquartered in Leverkusen, Germany, sees the necessity and added value of extending automated process monitoring: "Timely monitoring of exceptions within business processes and activities helps our customers in the Bayer group to avoid problems in advance and to take corrective actions much quicker," says Philipp Rau of Bayer Business Services. For this reason, BBS worked closely with IDS Scheer in the development of ARIS PEM and identified a number of benefits of using the tool.
