Question: We are in the pre-budgetary phase of a large data re-engineering project that will require a business intelligence tool as part of its implementation. Do you know where/how I can estimate high-level prices for each of the BI tool vendors?

Sid Adelman's Answer : The BI tool vendors should be able to give you these estimates but be sure to ask for estimates that include all the functions you need so understand the vendors' products and their options - which you may consider to be requirements.
