Sypherlink Launches New Data Management and Compliance Application

Sypherlink, a provider of automated data mapping software, announced the launch of Sypherlink Integrity. Building on the company's suite of data integration and management tools, Integrity automates data preparation and movement processes to ensure information flowing through an organization is consistent and reliable, while reducing the overall time and costs associated with enforcing information integrity.

Key decisions and business processes rely on a critical flow of information between source and target systems. In many cases, this critical information flow is interrupted because of a lack of integrity between what the target system depends on receiving and what the sources of information actually provide. The accuracy and validity of incoming file formats, file content and data - as determined by the target system - is essential in mitigating disruptions in this critical information flow.

Sypherlink Integrity acts as a "traffic cop" between incoming files and the target system, ensuring compliance with the requirements defined by the target application. Key functionality includes:

  • File capture - Monitors email, directories or data sources to capture important information.
  • File format integrity - Verifies incoming file formats and corrects file-formatting issues in accordance with target file specifications.
  • File content integrity - Validates that required data is populated and applies user-specific rules to parse, fill and correct the content being processed.
  • Error notification & delivery - Ensures good files are delivered to the target or recipient, while errors are logged and the appropriate users notified.
  • User-defined rules - Incorporates multiple levels of logic and customization to meet an organization's specific needs.
  • Seamless integration - Integrates seamlessly with Sypherlink's product suite to enable solutions to some of the most difficult data management challenges, including reverse engineering extract/transformation/load (ETL) transformations and tracking data lineage.
