Menlo Park, Calif., July 7, 1999 - Broadbase Software announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of the company's common stock. Deutsche Banc Alex Brown will act as the lead manager of the proposed offering, and Dain Rauscher Wessels (a division of Dain Rauscher Incorporated), Thomas Weisel Partners LLS and E*TRADE Securities, Inc. will act as co-managers of the proposed offering.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may an offer to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
