London and New York, June 30, 1999 – As a result of its success in teaming up with IBM Hong Kong on a bid for Hong Kong government software development contracts, Popkin Software announced that its System Architect 2001 product has been selected as the modeling tool of choice for all future development projects by IBM Hong Kong. IBM will be providing local support in System Architect 2001 to the Hong Kong government. The deal is expected to realize revenues of about $250,000 for Popkin over the next 12 months.

System Architect 2001 is an enterprise modeling tool that includes comprehensive support for business, process, object and data modeling. It supports leading business and process modeling notations, UML for component and object modeling, a new, model-based approach for data modeling, and provides complete support for traditional structured analysis and design techniques.
