Intalio|BPMS 4.2 takes advantage of the latest AJAX technologies to support the development of web-based forms for human workflow. This new release adds a WYSIWYG form designer built as an Eclipse plugin, and supports the graphical definition of complex pageflows, also known as guided procedures, making the development of multi-step workflow tasks a rather trivial exercise. It also provides easier deployment on top of the Apache Geronimo application server, as well as a new web-based management console for system administrators.

Intalio also announced that more than 1,500 individual organizations are now using Intalio|BPMS Community Edition, while 65 have subscribed to Intalio's training and support services to date. This sets the company on a clear path to becoming the market share leader for standards-based BPMS by the end of 2006.
