Savvion and Tata Consultancy Services Form Strategic Alliance to Provide Industry Leading Business Process Management Solutions

Savvion, an industry leading business process management (BPM) company, announced a worldwide strategic alliance with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading global IT services firm, to provide TCS customers with industry-leading BPM solutions through the company's newly created BPM Center of Excellence (COE). TCS will provide BPM services via solutions from Savvion to help customers model, optimize, implement and extend business processes within and across organizations.

Tata Consulting Services is the world-leading information technology consulting, services, and business process outsourcing organization with vertical expertise in banking, financial services, insurance, telecom, manufacturing, retail, transportation and energy.

The global partnership with Savvion enables TCS' customers to execute on business process for improved profitability and the ability to Tata Consulting Services' partnership with Savvion will help address the collaboration gap between business managers and IT staff in many businesses. The two groups collaborate, but business needs are often lost in translation while developing the technology platforms to TCS' BPM services will allow business managers to visualize, improve and hand off a fully formed process model that is then easily implemented by IT.

The Center of BPM Excellence consists of an experienced cross-functional team with expertise in a variety of industry and technology domains. The members of this team use this knowledge pool to create BPM assets and best practices. These are then deployed to enhance the productivity, compliance and agility of an organization.

As organizations need to demonstrate greater agility and responsiveness across the enterprise while enhancing compliance and control, the COE will ensure that customers have access to state-of-the-art technology and practices.
