Wise Media Technology (WMT) introduces the Finger & Grain Communication System (FGC). This new breakthrough RFID system dramatically advances the usage of RFID applications. While wireless RFID tags are becoming ubiquitous, high costs and limited distances have hampered the use of passive and active tags in many applications. WMT has overcome this problem by developing a unique progressive communications method for using hybrid RFID tags called GRAIN. It uses no batteries, yet combines the features of both passive and active tags. This allows real time precision data collection. FGC offers the industries first truly low-cost high quality RFID solution.
