AppForge, Inc., a leader in multi-platform mobile and wireless application development solutions, announced the introduction of AppForge Data Sync, a complete solution for data synchronization between mobile devices and enterprise databases.

AppForge Data Sync, built on enterprise data synchronization technology from Intellisync Corporation, the leader in wireless email and mobile applications for the enterprise, supports both the AppForge Crossfire and MobileVB solutions, providing developers with the combined power of data synchronization and mobile application development solutions.

Data Sync is designed to leverage the foundation of mobile application development from AppForge Crossfire 5.6.  With the AppForge Data Sync SDK feature, developers have extensive control of the synchronization process from Crossfire or MobileVB and can easily augment their solutions to configure and access the underlying synchronization engine.

Other key features provide developers with secure, flexible data synchronization and remote data transfer capability, regardless of bandwidth or the reliability of network connections.  Features such as bi-directional data synchronization ensure that changes and updates are reflected on both the device and the enterprise database. In addition, single-point client deployment capabilities automatically install all necessary supporting files on the device.
