Reinforcing their strategic partnership announced in April 2004, Siebel Systems, Inc., a leading provider of business applications software, and Teradata, a leader in enterprise data warehousing and a division of NCR Corporation, announced that Siebel Business Analytics applications are now integrated and optimized for the Teradata Warehouse.Together with the Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse, the comprehensive suite of Siebel Business Analytics provide users across the entire enterprise with the ability to "ask any question of any data" at any time with no limitations.

This integration and optimization makes Siebel Business Analytics platform and applications ideal for all customers seeking high-performance, native interaction with the Teradata Warehouse.  The combined solution allows joint customers to leverage the complete functionality and maximum performance provided by the Teradata data warehousing platform in providing a wide range of cross-enterprise analysis capabilities, embedded best practices and metrics to deliver actionable insight for all employees.

In addition, Siebel and Teradata are announcing the availability of an integration methodology between Teradata's industry-specific logical data models and Siebel Business Analytics application data models.  Siebel Business Analytics applications include prebuilt ETL plans and logical and physical data warehouse models that augment and integrate with Teradata industry-specific logical data models.  The integration methodology ensures Siebel Business Analytics applications can run directly against Teradata data models that have been supplemented with required information, such as detailed customer interaction data, thus minimizing data redundancy and accelerating implementation for joint customers.

The combination of Siebeland Teradata data models provide a consolidated, current and high reliability enterprise data warehouse that enables a single view of the business for executives, management and employees across the enterprise.
