Agilysys to Distribute Enterprise Reporting Technology from Business Objects to Value Added Resellers

Business Objects, a leading provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, and Agilysys, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise computer solutions, announced the signing of a distribution agreement. This new relationship will bring enterprise reporting technology from Business Objects to an influential new channel of value added resellers.

The strategic alliance is based on a collective expertise in business intelligence and will encompass channel development programs, co-marketing, and distribution capabilities. The Agilysys KeyLink Systems Group is now authorized to distribute industry-leading enterprise reporting technology from Business Objects, including
Crystal Enterprise. With this agreement, Business Objects will add to its growing value added reseller (VAR) partner program, which currently has more than 270 partners.

 "Our partnership with Business Objects firmly establishes our commitment to provide leading business intelligence solutions to the market that will enable resellers and user customers to make critical business decisions based on improved access, analysis, and reporting of up-to-the-minute data," said Matt Reaves, vice president of Software Sales for Agilysys. "This partnership expands the software portfolio of Agilysys and gives our resellers yet another solution to help enhance their business performance and overall success."

The Agilysys KeyLink Systems Group focuses on delivering enterprise solutions from industry leading suppliers exclusively through resellers. Their approach to market provides a dedicated and focused organization committed to delivering operational excellence, innovative tools, integrated marketing programs and flexible services.
This new distribution relationship with Agilysys will help Business Objects expand its market reach and allow a broader range of organizations to take advantage of the Crystal line of enterprise reporting solutions.
