September 29, 2008 - Actuate Corporation and Webalo Inc. announced an agreement in which Actuate will resell Webalo’s Mobile Dashboard as part of a mobile solution to deliver e.Spreadsheets and BIRT reports directly to BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Palm, Symbian or Java-enabled smartphones.
Actuate’s mobile solution with Webalo service will allow BIRT reports to be sent directly to mobile devices. Additionally, the solution will provide users of Actuate e.Spreadsheet with a simple wizard to configure their reports for mobile devices. Actuate will embed Webalo’s Mobile Dashboard into its mobile solution, ensuring that customers can deliver up-to-date content into the hands of mobile users.
