November 9, 2009 — Quantivo today announced the release of Quantivo for E-Commerce, a customer analytics product.

Monitoring Web behavior in summary and in detail through software tools has become a staple of sales and marketing efforts as more business moves online. Web analytic reports can help businesses detail and measure customer activity, and provide hints to improving usability, satisfaction and overall Web site traffic.

Quantivo for E-Commerce is meant to segment customer behavior to predict what they are likely to click next, view next, or purchase next, based on what similar customers have done in the past. According to a statement from Brian Kelly, CEO of Quantivo, this can help increase clicks, visits and purchases.

The analytics solution and standard reports were created through work with e-commerce customers using Quantivo’s behavioral analytics platform.
