I'm a sucker for feedback, and one of the most rewarding experiences of these past few months has been to read comments from our audience regarding our new magazine relaunch and redesign. I appreciate both the constructive criticism and the words of positive appreciation.
After any major project or product launch, it is reassuring to know that all the hard work has been noticed and is valued. I think that is one of the reasons one of my favorite features of our new format is the ability to share more case studies with you than ever before. Maybe you can identify with some aspects of these real-world projects that worked (or perhaps didn't!). My hope is that the innovation at companies within your industry will inspire you.

Many people are eager to share the stories of the work they've accomplished within their organizations, and this month we feature another high-profile organization that faced an information management challenge LINK. Pfizer's federated integration solution first gained recognition from us as a winner of our 2008 Innovative Solution Award for data integration. From there, we dug for the deeper account, and we couldn't resist sharing their unique story with you.
If you have a story about your successes, challenges or both that you're willing to share with our audience, please let me know at julie.langenkamp@sourcemedia.com.

And while we're on the topic of feedback, we wouldn't be up to date if we were not looking at new ways of monitoring customer sentiment. Bill Baker discusses some of the advances in tracking social media in our interview with him in this issue LINK.

In the meantime, Information Management continues to develop new functionality and features for you to explore and become involved with. Have you checked out our new blogs? We've tapped authors from the most credible sources such as Forrester Research and Baseline Consulting, who, along with our staff and best frequent contributors, are now sharing more opinions and waiting for your instant feedback at info-mgmt.com/blog.

Enjoy the issue,
Julie Langenkamp, editor in chief
