CiRBA announced the latest version of its namesake capacity transformation and control software. CiRBA v7.2 features Dynamic Transformation Planning for virtual and cloud infrastructures, enabling users to “drag and drop” existing VMs and hosts to new platforms and assess their impact; Storage Sensor, which monitors used and provisioned data store capacity status for VMware environments; and, through its Booking feature, capabilities to reserve capacity within the data stores of new VMs coming online.
Embarcadero Technologies implemented its Metadata Governance strategy across its entire product portfolio. The upgrade enables metadata discovery, management and syndication. Also released was ER/Studio XE3, its database modeling tool, which features universal mapping, the ability to create custom data types and support for SQL Server 2012, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum and Windows 8.
GFI Software announced the latest version of its log management software. GFI EventsManager includes real-time monitoring of assets, flexible storage capabilities, encrypted storage and a XML parsing schema.
Hortonworks unveiled Hortonworks Sandbox, an environment to learn, evaluate or use Apache Hadoop in the enterprise. The self-contained virtual machine is built using Hortonworks Data Platform v1.2, offers regular updates, as well as the ability to upload individual datasets.
Neolane released the latest version of its marketing analytics solution. Neolane Marketing Analytics now features user-driven capabilities to optimize, execute and monitor campaigns in real time, as well as create reports.
Prelert released Anomaly Detective, its predictive analytics solution for application performance management. Designed for Splunk Enterprise environments, Anomaly Detective utilizes pattern recognition algorithms to automatically detect problems, provides diagnostic data and requires minimal configuration.
Rapid-I unveiled the latest version of its data integration, ETL, data analysis and reporting suite. RapidMiner v5.3 features new file operators, aggregation functions and integration with Microsoft Excel 2007, SAS and Rapid-I Marketplace.
SIOS Technology, in conjunction with Supermicro and Fusion-io, launched a SuperSQL Cluster Appliance. The server platform integrates SIOS’ DataKeeper Cluster Edition software and Fusion ioMemory products into the single chassis, dual-node Supermicro 2U Twin SuperServer. The product supports Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Cluster Services and Windows Server Failover Cluster.
ThinkLiquidity released new additions to its portfolio of risk management products. Quantum Analytics is a customizable, Web-based analytics suite with the capability for either real-time or scheduled reports. MultiManager (Percent Allocation Management Module) issues trades, manages different forms of client allocation methodologies and can rapidly send electronic limited power of attorney agreements. Compliance Consulting provides guidance in regional regulations, net capital and legal agreements.
VoltDB released the latest version of its namesake in-memory relational database. Built for big data applications, VoltDB v3.0 includes support for JSON and SQL, flexible cloud deployment, sub-millisecond latency and export connectors for Netezza, Vertica and JDBC.
4th Story unveiled new capabilities to its suite of automated trading and analysis solutions. A revamped dashboard enables work order oversight, alerts and analytics. Other upgrades enable real-time monitoring and analysis of account profit and loss.
