Business Intelligence Associates announced upgrades to its cloud-based eDiscovery solution, TotalDiscovery.com. The third generation of this solution offers enhanced automatic reminders, legal holds, with multiple holds per matter, and a new dashboard.
BP Logix released Process Director Version 2.5, the latest version of their BPM software which provides process intelligences, advanced reporting and records management, either on-premise or via a cloud. Updates include offline task approvals for mobile devices, records management that supports disposition rules and retention polices for submitted forms, and a business rules engine that integrates with other applications.
DataSift unveiled two tools to integrate social BI into the enterprise. DataSift Push, a data delivery system, allows companies to review, integrate and analyze social data and integrate it with a number of applications, including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, and CouchDB. DataSift Query Builder, written in HTML5, provides a graphical interface to create filters that mine social data.
EMC introduced EMC NetWorker 8.0, a unified backup and recovery software. Updates include a client direct feature that enables backup directly from the application client to disk; an architecture that delivers enhanced scalability; and multi-tenancy management that delivers logical zoning of data, devices and users.
GridIron Systems and Zettaset made a joint release of their reference architecture for virtual Hadoop clusters. Utilizing Flash to improve inter-node communication, this release integrates Zettaset Orchestrator software with GridIron OneAppliance iNode to provide an all-Flash high bandwidth appliance.
Neustar launched Neustar Web Performance Management, a solution that combines Neustar Website Monitoring and Neustar Website Load Testing in a single platform. This release utilizes Selenium, an open-source web application for system testing, offers real-user or synthetic monitoring and can generate custom monitoring reports.
NICE Systems announced Release 4.1 of NICE Performance Management and NICE Incentive Compensation Management solutions. The improvements include a new menu structure, a charting engine and an updated configuration manager.
Quantum Corp. released a cloud-based backup and disaster recovery subscription service, Q-Cloud, for business-class data protection. This service provides scalable backup of both physical and virtual infrastructures that is “pay as you grow,” with DXi-Series and Quantum vmPRO protection.
X-IO launches Hyper ISE 7-series, its storage system designed for enterprise-level applications. This system is available in capacities of 7.2TB, 14.4TB and 21.6TB, utilizes MLC SSDs and HDD technology and features clustered on-board controls on each self-contained storage unit.
Virsto released Virsto for vSphere 1.5, their VM-level storage management hypervisor. The update offers increased IOPS, per-VM snapshots and clones and integration for automated storage provisioning.
VMware unveiled vCloud Suite 5.1, its solution comprised of virtualization, cloud infrastructure and management portfolio in a single SKU. This release supports up to 64 virtual CPUs, up to 500 networked hosts per distributed switch and automated disaster recovery for all applications. This suite combines VMware vMotion, VMware VSphere Data Protection, VMware vSphere Replication, VMware vShiled Endpoint and VMware vCloud Networking and Security.
