AppSense updated its AppSense User Virtualization Platform. New or updated features include extended enterprise management controls, refined set-up and administration, more self-service options, as well as built-in wizards and best practices. 

Customer Relationship Metrics launched its new suite of managed analytics services. Desktop Activity BI includes offerings for desktop activity analysis, application performance data, and optimization for governance, compliance and usage. 

FileTek Inc. introduced its new content analysis and migration management software. StorHouse/Trusted Edge features a graphical interface, asset distribution prior to migration, and a policy creation and execution engine. 

Guardian Analytics made available its mobile fraud prevention solution. FraudMAP Mobile features anomaly detection across SMS, mobile Web and mobile apps, built on Guardian’s behavorial analytics. 

Hitachi Data Systems Corporation announced enhancements to its Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) and Hitachi Data Ingestor (HDI). The Hitachi object store, HCP, features additional support and backing for spin-down disks. The Hitachi cloud on-ramp, HDI, includes tagging data to a remote location and other availability enhancements. 

Informatica unveiled its latest release of Informatica Cloud, its cloud data integration solutions. The spring release features a new Informatica Cloud Developer Edition, which combines its cloud connector toolkit to integration templates. In addition, there are solution enhancements for migration of objects between development and production, and support for SuSE Linux and Salesforce Web Services API.

Versant Corporation announced version 0.9 of its Versant Java Persistence API (JPA). The first feature-full version since its sneak peek in December, JPA includes JSE support, annotations, an entity manager API, support for JPQL, a generic API, and entity lifecycle callbacks.

VisionWare released the latest generation of its MDM product, MultiVue. New capabilities in MultiVue 3 include IHE Compliance, an expanded support module, muti-domain capabilities, as well as another new product, Chroma, a new governance solution connected to its MDM portfolio. 

VMware Inc. launched VMware View 5.1. The updated version of the cloud solution includes enhancements to provisioning, configuration and management; a new USB stack for added device support; and new storage and cloning capabilities.
