Aspera Inc. introduced Aspera Shares, its Web application for enterprise content sharing. With Aspera’s fasp transport solution at its core, Aspera Shares features a consolidated view of all available data content on multiple nodes, large-scale file-based content sharing, an activity feed of all collections and uploads, and secure access on standard Web browsers.

Content Raven unveiled its cloud-based content control and analytics offering. The flagship, namesake product enables control of content delivery, usage tracking, content consumption analysis, all with support on multiple devices.

Fujitsu launched a set of big data processing and analysis tools. Included in the releases is its Interstage Big Data Parallel Processing Server, based on an Apache Hadoop framework that has stoked its file speeds, as well as the release of its Complex Event Processing Server for raking over large data sets for master file matches.

Infor executives kicked off a vision for the “new Infor” with a platform update for the Infor10 Suite. Infor10 includes a mix of product upgrades for BI, collaborative and social applications, localization and several mobile applications, user interfaces and connecters on its ION middleware platform. Nexenta Systems announced three OpenStack solutions. Nexenta released NexentaStor Cloud Archive Plug-in, for cloud storage backup and restoration, as well as a community addition to its Swift interfaces for more compatibility with Amazon’s S3. The vendor also previewed its storage as a service software featuring integration of ZFS-based and object storage available at cloudstorage.nexenta.com. 

Noetix Corp. introduced its tech platform, NoetixViews Workbench. Tooled for the automated creation and management of customizations of NoetixViews for Oracle E-Business Suite, the platform touts the ability to attain more reports for users faster than before.

Pegasystems Inc. revealed integration with Apache Hadoop for its predictive and adaptive analytics offering. A reference implementation of the Hadoop support showed capabilities for refinement of customer preferences with built-in analytics and real-time updates on interactions.

Pentaho Corporation infused new visualization, analytics and data quality capabilities for Pentaho Business Analytics 4.5. The enhanced version includes location-based data visualization, added visual analysis interactivity, updated in-memory cache performance, and, through a partnership with Human Inference and their EasyDQ platform, features for data cleansing and standardization.

Q-Sensei Corp. released the latest generation of its enterprise search platform. Q-Sensei Enterprise v2.0 features new or updated features for ontology-based data processing and configuration, an API geared toward increasing time-to-market, and more capabilities for handling large, disparate data volumes.

Stimulsoft Company released version 2012.1 of its Stimulsoft Reports line. The new version of its Report Generator supports range and stepped range chart types, and there are other product line enhancements for exporting to HTML5, report sorting, vector printing, and interactive sorting.

STORServer released product upgrades to its data backup appliances. The releases include: the new BA Series Backup Appliance, for up to seven terabytes per appliance with support for multiple disaster recovery options; updated Enterprise Backup Appliances, with customization and support for multiple platforms; and its STORServer Console now available as a stand-alone appliance for IBM Tivoli.

Teradata announced the availability of Teradata ADW Private Cloud, the on-demand version of its data warehousing line. The private cloud data warehouse offerings consolidate enterprise servers, cut away data marts that otherwise have low utilization and provide active access to BI data in the cloud, including the business analytics feature, Teradata Data Lab. X1 Discovery Inc. put out enhancements to its eDiscovery and enterprise search solution. X1 Rapid Discovery. Available in the cloud or as on-premise software, X1 Rapid Discovery features refined access, search and collection to existing cloud environments.
