Acronis released Acronis vmProtect 7, its solution for disaster recovery and data protection. The latest generation includes new management options, VM replication and support for Exchange to enhance practices for VMware vSphere servers.

Infor delivered its Inforce Everywhere business application software for sales and CRM. Built natively on Salesforce.com’s social enterprise platform, Force.com, the release includes features for detailed customer information, syncs up orders and customer data with ERP information.

KXEN made available InfiniteInsight Version 6. The new version includes InfiniteInsight Social, which links individuals or nodes to identify communities, enhanced mega-hub connection, more links to suggested and possible customer purchases, export to Microsoft PowerPoint, and in-database score deviation.

Predixion Software updated its flagship collaborative predictive analytics solution, Predixion Insight. Version 2.2 fully supports Microsoft’s SQL Server 2012 and PowerPivot 2012, and enhanced functionality for sharing models, datasets and results.

Rosslyn Analytics released RA.Pid Supplier Risk Profile, a new suite of prebuilt information feeds for supply chain management. The cloud-based data services and analytics platform features: financial monitoring of suppliers; identification of water resource use and overall supplier dependencies; cost assessment for natural disasters and social unrest; and real-time geolocation information.

Semarchy
announced the availability of Convergence for Data Integration. A compliment to the provider’s MDM offering, the new product features non-intrusive ETL architecture, a metadata-driven user experience, and a universal data access layer based on a connectivity framework and a large number of built-in connectors.

Symantec Corp. unveiled an updated version of its information governance solution, Symantec Data Insight 3.0. New or enhanced features to the update include: continuous monitoring of data usage and enabling rule-based data ownership; optimization in collection, indexing and query algorithms particularly focused on large data sets; and bolstered integration with other Symantec offerings for data recovery and privacy.

Teradata has announced availability of Teradata Active Data Warehouse Platform 6690, which includes a new generation of hybrid storage. The company says the platform's optimized but flexible mix of configured solid state (SSD) and hard disk drives (HDD) meets a broader range of customer analytic needs. The mix of storage in the company's EDW system is managed by Teradata Virtual Storage management software. The company says multiple tiers of main memory and high speed and high capacity devices bring flexibility for uses including long range planning and reporting as well as real time intelligence for "front line employees."
