Teragram, a division of SAS Institute Inc. announced the launch of its Sentiment Analysis Manager (SAM), a social media analysis tool that computes the sentiment of digital text and captures relevant information that enables brand managers to see what their end-users are writing about their products.

Vertica announced an upgrade to its Vertica Analytic Database for the Cloud, an on-demand version of the company’s MPP columnar database hosted on cloud computing services such as Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), as well as upcoming cloud computing services from Sun and Rackspace.

xTuple announced the launch of The xChange, an online marketplace of add-on and extensions to xTuple ERP. The xChange provides users with a way to share and discover solutions ranging from third-party Web site connectors to snap-in tools that enhance the xTuple applications.
