HP unveiled new solutions within its adaptive infrastructure portfolio that reduce overall infrastructure costs and data center complexity. HP BladeSystem Matrix is the industry’s first converged software, server, storage and networking platform that automates service delivery for the data center. HP Matrix Orchestration Environment provides a unified management interface to design, deploy and optimize the application infrastructure.HP introduced several additional offerings that expand the flexibility of a business-ready infrastructure including as well: HP LeftHand P4000 SAN solutions, HP StorageWorks SB40c with P4000 Virtual SAN Appliance Software bundle, HP StorageWorks 600 Modular Disk System and HP Insight Capacity Advisor Virtualization Services. 

Pentaho Corporation announced Pentaho Data Integration 3.2, a new release of Pentaho's extract, transform and load tool with enhancements for cloud- and cluster-based ETL. Pentaho Data Integration is already in production on the Amazon cloud supporting cloud-based data warehouses, and provides cloud ETL features like data compression to minimize data transfer costs, and dynamic parallelism to support elastic, multiserver ETL configurations. Pentaho Data Integration 3.2, secondary ETL servers can now register with the master server, so that administrators can run any data integration job on an arbitrary number of cloud-based servers without manually configuring the connection to each cloud-based secondary server. 

Texas Memory Systems announced the RamSan-620, a complete, high-performance Flash system that delivers up to five terabytes of solid state storage in a single 2U chassis. The RamSan-620 offers price/performance/capacity value to comparable hard disk drive and Flash-form factor modules. Applications such as on-line transaction processing, data warehousing, high-performance data acquisition, batch processing and video editing are likely to benefit from the new release. 

TopQuadrant announced TopBraid Suite 3.0, including two significant advancements that open up Semantic Web application development to a broader set of technically savvy users, significantly reduce development costs and speed time-to-market for new applications.TopBraid Suite 3.0 supports SPIN (SPARQL Inferencing Notation), the first semantic Web language with an explicit object-oriented rule model that can link business logic and domain models. 

Unisys Corporation announced enhancements to its line of enterprise servers along with a framework designed to help clients select the virtualization architecture appropriate for their enterprises and reduce the costs of implementing and managing a virtualized environment.
Unisys is making the new VMware vSphere 4 virtualization software is now available across the entire line of Unisys Enterprise Servers. Powered by VMware vSphere 4 software and Intel Xeon 5500 series processors, the new Unisys ES3000 and ES5000 server solutions – combined with Unisys advisory and implementation services – allow clients to improve their total cost of ownership with a choice of scale-out and scale-up virtualization approaches as well. 

WorkForce Software, Inc. launched EmpCenter Delivered, a software as a service workforce management solution which automates 100 percent of an organization’s labor policies and compliance processes – with no upfront configuration services fees. WorkForce Software’s EmpCenter Delivered solution offers time and attendance, activity based costing, multiple assignments, absence management and advanced scheduling.  

Zmanda announced an upgrade to its Zmanda Recovery Manager for MySQL backup and recovery solution. Among the new ZRM 3.1 features is a visual log analyzer, which allows database administratorsto identify operator errors, catch malicious database changes and revert errors or malicious events by restoring information from previous backups.
