UPHS Selects Unica’s MarketingCentral Solution

The University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) chose MarketingCentral, Unica Corporation's on-demand marketing resource management (MRM) solution.

MarketingCentral was selected to automate marketing processes, improve internal communications between individual marketing staff and project teams, collaborate with outside marketing partners, measure marketing output and determine marketing requirements and allocate resources.

“MarketingCentral was a breeze to implement," said UPHS manager of marketing and communications Rebecca Stewart. "With Unica’s MarketingCentral solution, we can now provide our senior leadership with proof of the number of jobs that come through the department. This information enables us to negotiate/justify the need to hire additional staff members, which has resulted in a much more evenly distributed workload.”

Hoefer Wysocki Architects Uses DataCore’s SANmelody

Hoefer Wysocki Architects selected and deployed DataCore’s SANmelody as their storage area network (SAN).

In 2006, the firm won Kansas City’s Small Business of the Year award and doubled in size. More jobs meant an increase in the number of files employees were generating as well as larger files and a data storage problem.

“We were at the size that we needed to put something in place that would allow us to grow and not have to add hardware all the time and essentially throw away what we already had,” said Brenda Dvorak, IT Director at Hoefer Wysocki Architects.

WestJet Chooses Tizor to Monitor and Secure Sensitive Data

WestJet, a Canadian airline, implemented Tizor Systems’ Mantra solution to meet data auditing requirements for Canadian Sarbanes Oxley (CSOX) and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI).

Mantra solution is used by enterprises to audit and report on the security and integrity of sensitive data in databases and file servers. It monitors and reports on all user activity, including privileged user activity, with data and detects suspicious user behavior that may signal data theft.

“WestJet is very pleased to have implemented Mantra by Tizor. The implementation has enabled us to meet specific requirements for both CSOX and PCI compliance,” said Stacey Dawson, WestJet manager of IT security services. “WestJet is now able to monitor its critical databases both locally and from the network. Tizor’s technical support team has been highly responsive to any questions and issues we have come across.”

Glitnir Bank Selects Siperian

Glitnir selected Siperian, Inc.’s Siperian MDM Hub to create a unified view of customers, products and relationships.

Siperian’s master data management (MDM) platform will be used across lines of business and front and back office systems. Glitnir’s approach will consolidate business applications, data warehouses and MDM into a single, enterprise architecture.

“In order to maintain our position in the global markets, we need to enhance our understanding of our customer relationships and the financial products they buy,” said Páll Kolka Isberg, managing director shared services office at Glitnir.  “The deployment of Siperian MDM Hub will improve our customer-facing employee’s ability to offer clients value added products and services.”
