Exanet Selects Chelsio Adapters
Exanets customers enjoy speed, high performance, fast access, less wasted time and higher productivity with Exanets software and hardware, leveraging Chelsio 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapters.
Because of the nature of our software technology, we can automatically install the fastest cards into standard, off-the-shelf hardware, says Yossi Ben-Shoshan, Exanets CTO and EVP Product. We recognize that Chelsio has the fastest cards on the market, so it seemed natural to pair our best-of-breed technologies.
NorDx Uses InforSense
NorDx, one of the leading independent clinical labs in the U.S. northeast and a member of the MaineHealth system, signed a deal with InforSense Ltd.
The production InforSense system is fully implemented and in active use at NorDx. It was implemented in three weeks and is expanding rapidly as new use cases and applications are defined and implemented. InforSense is used at NorDx to: extract data from billing, laboratory results, patient and cost data sources; create and load data marts to enable analysis for quality measurements; assess pay for performance goals and payment of payer reimbursements. The system also automates the generation of clinical, reimbursement and billing reports for the 35,000 patients and over 200,000 plus tests performed each month.
The system is proving very effective and easy to use even our billing analyst is building her own workflows to answer ad hoc questions from the Finance Director and Leadership Team, said Denis Rochette, Director IT, NorDx.
The Container Store Declutters with Texas Memory Systems
The Container Store, a retailer specializing in storage and organization, deployed Texas Memory Systems latest solid state disk technology to help manage the high volume of Web site traffic resulting from a feature on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Storage and organization products from The Container Store were featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show in November. This stimulated demand and caused a huge increase in web visitors to www.containerstore.com. This surge in traffic would have caused the Web site to slow down and potential customers to give up. However, in anticipation of the increased traffic the company installed a Texas Memory Systems RamSan-440 solid state disk.
"We knew our IT infrastructure was about to be slammed and that we would need a quick and effective way to handle an unprecedented level of concurrent visitors to our site. We needed equipment from Texas Memory Systems in a hurry and they were there for us. Since the show aired on November 13th, our new infrastructure is helping us take maximum advantage of the exposure," said Tom Birmingham, CTO at The Container Store.

The new servers will be used to replicate the Microsoft applications hosted at Alliance Groups production site to its disaster recovery site via EMCs RecoverPoint, CX3 Storage and VMware software solutions. This will help create business continuity for the companys Microsoft Windows and Novell Netware environments.
