Many people use their blogs to share experiences, opine on recent news and pontificate on trends or ideas. In this blog, I intend to do a bit of all of those things at times, but my primary goal is to open a dialog among Information Management site visitors. In this spirit, I’ll primarily be asking questions, and I look forward to your comments and responses.
Industry conferences are opportunities to learn from experts, network with peers and, on the whole, stay keyed-in to trends in information management. As I look forward to next week’s TDWI conference in Chicago, I’m curious about whether people will take advantage of the opportunity, or whether corporate travel policies have changed to the extent that some eager participants may not attend. So my question of the week is: Are you subject to more travel restrictions than you were last year, and what do you think the repercussions of such restrictions will be?
